Just Flow Events & Marketing is pleased to announce two of its team members attended the recent Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Train-the-Trainer Course. The event was held on March 16th at New Hampshire Fire Academy in Concord, New Hampshire.
Ami D’Amelio, CEO & President, and Matt MacDonald, Strategic Marketing Manager, were two of 151 attendees at the event. The CRASE course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT, provided strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics included the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, medical issues, and drills.
The course was open to personnel responsible for the safety and preparedness of a community or place of business. Since Just Flow Events & Marketing manages and executes a number of small to large corporate, nonprofit and social events each year, completing this course was crucial to share preparation and active safety techniques with event clients.
